Latest Event Updates
My story started not long after I finished university. After 2 years in college and 3 years in university I was looking for work in IT. A full year of job hunting, no success! Everywhere I tried, all wanted at least a years experience! I even volunteered to work for free for a week just to get some experience, even that was not good enough. I noticed every job site I was visiting were advertising for the Royal Navy.
I was so lucky to be invited to the launch of the Fed Chef Special menu in Cardiff. Have you ever had the time were you cannot decide what you would like for food…? Or it is take away night and you fancy a curry but your partner fancies chicken balls with sweet and sour… Go to FeD!
Who has a tattoo?
Wonderful pieces of art applied to the skin, with agonizing burning and tearing sensations. 😂 But, after all the pain you go through, they usually come out great! And I must emphasize the word usually… I have seem some bad ones.
I have two tattoos. Two which I am not entirely happy with! When I was around 17 years old I had to get a tattoo. Everyone was having them, it was the in thing at the time. I found a job! A great job! ☺️
If you all read my previous post about the passed few years of my life, you will realise how much this job means to me.
I have always wanted a career as well as a job. Thats why I decided to follow through with IT. After 5 years of education, I graduated but could never find work within the industry. 6 years after graduation… I finally find something within the industry with some high prospects.
This position is a trainee photocopier engineer. I will be travelling all over south Wales visiting companies which have our photocopier equipment. Servicing them, fixing them and also provide training on them when needed, when I am qualified that is 😉
I love cars! Anyone who knows me will know that.
I’ve owned three cars so far and the second two have been by far the best. The first was a Peugeot 206 in diesel. I swear it was held together with some gorilla tape and super glue! It was waiting to fall apart! And me as stupid as I was, bought the first car I seen without negotiations. Silly silly mistake! After having a job as a car salesman I have realised how much I got ripped off on the APR!
And here she is, this is Vera! I named all my cars female names, is that just a guy thing…?
For who ever doesnt know me personally, in this post I am going to share my life experiences since I left school.
It was great end to 2016 and start to 2017 for me. Three weeks off on sick over christmas and come back to work to find out I am getting dismissed. What a great start to the new year!
